Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
28th September to 4th October 2019
 
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Beechcroft Drive – Rear door to property found with scorch and burn marks near to the lock/handle in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Seymour Drive – Entry gained through insecure rear door.  Loft entered but nothing taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Overpool Road – Rear garden entered and kitchen window smashed to gain entry into property.  Cordless drill taken.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Entry gained via insecure window.  Safe and Samsung Galaxy mobile taken. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kinsey Road – Roof accessed to ‘KFC’ where a hole is made to access premises.  Hole made through inner wall to access back of safe.  Unable to access safe and offenders left.
  • Stanney Mill Lane – Boundary fencing damaged to gain entry to site and boarding removed from window. No entry gained.
  • Rossmore
  • Poole Hall Road – Site fencing found to have been cut. Ground floor office window forced open causing damage to the frame.  No entry gained. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Mill Lane – Boundary fence scale to access grounds of ‘Bridge Community Farm’.  Unsuccessful attempt made to force metal door to building causing damage to door.  Window smashed to access café area where an untidy search is made and a cash box and coin jars are taken. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Sutton
  • Singleton Road - Hinges removed on garage door. Offenders have left without entering the garage so.
  • Grange
  • Luton Road – Shed entered by unknown means and badminton set and strimmer and wire taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Caernarvon Court – Front window smashed.
  • Highfield Road – 4 small circular holes found in window glass.  Possible made by a pellet or similar.
  • Exeter Road – 2 windows to front of property smashed and 1 to rear cracked.  
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Chester Road – Whilst in ‘Platinum Estate Agents’ female becomes abusive and kicks out at desk and wall display causing damage. – Named suspect.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • West Road – Building materials and scaffold poles taken from property under renovation. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Car battery, left unattended on bench outside business unit taken by unknown person using a long wheel based Ford Transit van.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Whitegates Crescent – Fiat Ducati Motorhome, FH04 OEZ taken from residential driveway by unknown means.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Harlech Court – Front and rear registration plates, showing RL04 KMK taken from a Honda Civic. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • Liverpool Road – Vauxhall Vectra, parked in lay by near to the traffic lights at Five Ways, has both front and rear registration plates, showing KN03 XFF taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Glenwood Road – Front and rear registration plates, showing DA13 JVD taken from a Toyota Auris.
