Ellesmere Port & Neston Police News Bulletin
9th to 13th April 2019
  
If you have any CCTV, dash cam footage, etc., that you think may have captured something of relevance in relation to any of the below incidents, further information such as dates and times can be provided.
 
Burglary
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Strawberry
  • Lime Tree Close – Marks found on window and door in what appear to have been an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Sutton
  • Greasby Drive – Ground floor flat entered when access gained through damaged door.  TV, sandwich maker and food from the freezer taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST
 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Tarvin Close – Front living room window smashed by unknown means.
  • Brancepeth Court – Glue put into door lock on front door. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Electric meter box, within property smashed to remove money from within. – Named suspect.
  • Charter House – Back gate forced open breaking the bolt off.
  • Smithy Lane – Unknown objet thrown at front window causing the glass to crack.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – 2 reports received during the time frame for this report, from different residents.
    • Front window smashed by unknown means.
    • Door to flat damaged by an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry. – Named suspect.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cambridge Road – Staffordshire bull terrier, black with a white chest taken from rear garden.  Garden gate found to have been damaged along with the latch.
  • Flatt Lane – Whilst in ‘Club XES’ a Rose Gold IPhone 6 left on table taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Chester Road – Pushbike, no further details, left outside ‘Tesco Express’ has tyres and lights taken.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Strawberry Way East – Skoda Octavia, parked in car park of Stanney Woods has registration plates, KU11 PSY taken.
  • Rossmore
  • Fleming Street – Ford Transit, parked to rear of property has ladders taken from roof of vehicle. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Exeter Road – Nissan Micra, parked at roadside found with 2 large dents to bonnet.
  • Rossmore
  • Swale Road – Land Rover Range Rover has rear window smashed with a brick which was left on the rear seat.
  • Joseph Groom Towers – Jaguar XF, Audi, Peugeot 208 and VW Transporter scratched during overnight period by unknown offender/s.
