Suspicious Activity

We have had 2 calls of suspicious activity over the past month, firstly a knife being reported as found at Hitchens Close. Secondly reports of animal traps being placed in Murdishaw Woods which have now been removed.

Any suspicious activity should be reported on 101.

Tru-Cam enforcement has been conducted on Norton Station Road on 2 occasions. We have a set time of 1 hour when enforcing, the first occasion 12 motorists were seen to be doing over 35mph and the second occasion only 9 motorists which shows a slight decrease. *enforcement will continue*.

We are keen over the coming months to try and advertise the introduction of Neighbourhood Watch schemes in Norton North via the Cheshire Alert web page. If any members of Cheshire Alert would like to set-up and become a coordinator of a watch scheme then we as the police will offer support and advice in any way we can, my e-mail is attached at the bottom of this newsletter and I look forward to hearing from anyone who wishes to set-up a scheme that we can get involved with.
