Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Somerville Crescent – Entry forced into address via window which had been left partially open.  Television taken from within.
  • Stanney Lane – Entry gained via insecure front door.  House keys taken.
  • Strawberry
  • Cannock Close – Home owner has heard someone trying the door handle of her locked back door.  Upon disturbing them they have ran off across fields to the rear of the property.
  • Rossmore
  • Wilkinson Street – Entry gained via insecure front door. Medication taken. – Named suspect. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Stanley Close – Marks found on and around the front door in a possible unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Knottingley Drive – Access gained via unknown means.  Untidy search made within and purse and keys to a Mercedes A180, WA16 LXF taken along with the vehicle. – Vehicle recovered on Lowland Close, Ellesmere Port.
  • Sutton
  • Fenwick Road – Entry gained to property by unknown means. House and car keys taken along with Vauxhall Corsa, SB13 YJW
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Christleton Drive – Lock on side gate broken off in order to gain access to the rear garden.  The lock has then been snapped of the shed to gain entry. Mountain bikes and power tools taken but no specific details.
  • Parklands – Resident has heard a loud bang and upon checking cctv noticed 3 males in his garden shed.  Males left over the rear fencing to his address into woodland.  Nothing taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cambridge Road – Male picks up rock from rear garden and throws it at rear window causing it to smash. – Male arrested.
  • Bodium Court – Large stone thrown at window causing it to smash. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Unknown person has put glue into locks of communal doors.
  • Sutton Way – 2 house bricks thrown at windows causing them to smash.
  • Brooklyn Drive – Front window smashed by unknown object being thrown.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Thirlmere Road – Over past week food has been taken from chest freezer under car port.
  • Rossmore
  • Station Road – Bike left insecure outside ‘Shell’ garage taken. – No further details of bike. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • Overpool Road – Black and red Selt mountain bike taken from outside the local takeaway.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Civic Way – 2 unknown males have approached a White Suzuki GSX-R1, CN13 YGP, parked on car park by ‘Council Offices’.  The bike has then been taken by the pillion passenger.  The bike alarm has been sounding as it has been driven away. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Knottingley Drive - Mercedes A180, WA16 LXF taken after keys obtained during a burglary. – Vehicle recovered on Lowland Close, Ellesmere Port.
  • Berwick Road – 2 unknown offenders have entered residential driveway and taken a Silver and orange KTM Super Adventure, NU17 ZCF, which has been pushed away.  One male has then rode off on a moped, WJ14 UML, which is reported as stolen from Merseyside. – KTM recovered from Port Sunlight, Merseyside. – Offenders believed to be the same as those involved in the bike theft from Civic Way.
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – A group of 5 males, on 4 motorcycles enter  rear of SAICA Packaging.  They have stolen a White Yamaha, 125, CX11 XMZ. – Officers have then disturbed the group on North Road where they have abandoned a number of bikes near to the underpass, leading through to Regatta side of North Road.  The males left the area in the direction of Eastham, Merseyside.
CX11 XMZ – White Yamaha 125 – Recovered.
BD16 PXC – Grey Yamaha 124 (bike was displaying PL66 YCD and was stolen from Crossley Avenue on 8th March 2018) - Recovered.
N499 KRN – Red Honda (stolen from Merseyside) – Recovered.
 
  • Sutton
  • Fenwick Road – Vauxhall Corsa, SB13 YJW taken after keys obtained during a burglary.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Ford Transit, parked at roadside during overnight period entered after disck lock removed.  Generator taken, leaving various other tools behind. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Victoria Road – Vauxhall Vivaro has brick thrown through windscreen.
  • Warkworth Court – Ford Focus, parked on communal parking area set alight by unknown means.  This has in turn caused damage to another Ford Focus and a Peugeot.
  • Strawberry
  • Cannock Close – Nissan Nivara has both offside tyres slashed by unknown offender.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Parkgate Road – Unsuccessful attempt made to enter a Ford Transit, parked at ‘Premier Inn’, causing damage to the locks and side of van.
  • Bridge Street – Mazda CX-3, whilst travelling along road has unknown object thrown at it causing a dent and scratches to rear nearside door.
  • St. Pauls
  • Queens Gardens – Vauxhall Astra, FE13 NRN, has brick thrown through rear window and petrol poured through before being set alight.
Other incidents of note…
  • Wolverham Road – At around 0030 hour 2 unknown males have entered ‘The Cat’ Public House and threatened staff with hammers to open the safe and hand over keys.  Large amount of cash removed before staff locked in rear office.
  • Valley Drive – Report by Cheshire Fire of Yamaha bike on fire on Skate Park. – No further details of the bike at this time.
