PCSO 22299 Update
Hartford ASB/Crime figures
ASB – 1(Not reported)
I managed to catch another four young men at the Village hall this month. Three were advised while a fourth made off.
I am hoping CCTV at the location will have a positive effect and will also help me to identify any that don’t stop for me.
Shoplifting – 3
Another three shopliftings at the Co-op. Two were school kids and I have dealt with them appropriately the third was only recent so investigations are still ongoing.
Burglary – 1
Vicarage lane between 17th and the 21st we have some working ongoing regarding this. The owner was away at the time and appears someone has taken advantage of this.
Bicycle theft – 1
One bike taken from the train station at Hartford. We are still waiting on CCTV from the station to make our investigations.
I am still working hard with Hartford Primary on Riddings lane regarding the parking issues there. I have seen a slight reduction in bad parking but there will always be one or two. I try to give as much presence in the area as I can to help the problems.
I will be giving attention to the village hall at night over the weekends following issues with youths.
School parking issues will get focused on this month as well as speeding.
PCSO update/Looking forward
Following a recent push on roads policing in Cheshire by the PCC David Keane we were tasked with carrying out surveys in our areas to find out what members of the public would like the police to be focusing on.
The results for Hartford are shown on the below Graph and it comes and no surprise that Speeding is the top priority following by Drink/Drug driving.
To target these two areas I will be conducting speed enforcement on our Hartford’s Priority roads namely School Lane and Chester Road. We will also be conducting operations in the Northwich area to target Drink/Drug Driving.
