5th to 10th March 2018
   
Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • Grenfell Park – Entry gained into property via insecure door.  Television and wallet taken. – 2 males arrested.
  • Netherpool
  • Rossfield Road – 2 males, with a dog enter one of the new build properties via open front door.  Upon being approached by a site worker the males have run off. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Whitby Road – Entry gained to rear of unoccupied premises by smashing through fencing. The property has been entered via rear door causing damage.  Once inside the offender/s have damaged an internal door and smashed up the sink and shower screen in the bathroom.
  • Flatt Lane – 2 unknown males, wearing balaclavas, disturbed by staff closing up for the night trying to gain entry through the side fire exit door. Males ran off upon being disturbed. 
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Haddon Lane – Owl box, within nature reserve damaged by a slingshot.
  • Neston
  • Raleigh Road – Cat shot twice with a pellet gun.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Woodlands Road – Group of males enter ‘Woodlands’ Public House and by unknown means removed quantity of cash from gaming machine. – Named suspect. 
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Thamesdale – Secure Piaggio NRG, DK10 CSX taken from passage way next to address. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Blue Yamaha XJR 1300, DA57 LML taken from outside address. – CCTV shows 4 unknown male offenders, on mopeds initially attempt to take the bike before the alarm sounds.  They return a short while later and push the vehicle away. – Vehicle recovered at Eastham Lodge Golf Club. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Thamesdale – 2 vehicles parked on residential driveway damaged by an unknown offender. Suzuki Swift has offside front tyre slashed and a Citroen Picasso has the nearside rear tyre slashed. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Cedar Avenue – Vauxhall Astra has rear windscreen and rear nearside passenger window smashed. The rear nearside door is also scratched with an unknown implement.
  • Parklands – 2 Vehicles damaged outside same address. Nissan Micra has an unsuccessful attempt made to remove rear registration plate. Vauxhall Insignia has rear nearside tyre deflated by a nail having been jammed into the valve.
