Burglary
 Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Church Street – Outer pane of glass in bathroom window of flat smashed and damage caused to front door, although entry not believed gained.  However on a later date entry has then been gained via damaged door and cooker, washing machine and fridge/freezer have been taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Moorland Road – Entry gained via insecure rear kitchen door. House and keys taken along with black BMW 320, NH06 XWM. - Vehicle recovered on Oil Sites Road after 3 males seen running off. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Ness Road – Unknown offenders have entered the private dwelling above ‘The Wheatsheaf’ public house via a window having climbing onto the flat roof. Untidy search made within and keys to office desk located.  Desk searched and cash taken along with keys to safe, and its contents taken.  Offenders have left in the owners white Ford Connect van, DA63 VCJ using the keys which they had also obtained.
  • Neston
  • Lees Lane – Poultry Farm, out of hours has doors to office area forced open by unknown means. Search made within and a quantity of drills taken.  Window at premises also broken.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Chester Road – Rear door of shop forced to gain entry.  Nothing taken.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Disused petrol station entered after glass in front door smashed.  Once inside offender/s have forced open a second door.  Unknown if anything has been taken at this time. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Heathfield Road – Rear garden entered and access to shed by unknown means. Cover removed from motorcycle.  Nothing taken.
  • Whitby
  • Thamesdale – Lock forced off garden gate to access rear garden. Insecure shed entered and blue mountain bike taken. 
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Wellington Road North – Stone thrown at window causing it to smash.
  • Cambridge Road – Ground floor bathroom window has outer pane of glass smashed.
  • Lancing Road – ‘XX’ spray painted onto gates at the rear of property.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – During open hours a locked door to shower area at ‘Ellesmere Port Sports Village’ found to have been forced open, causing damage to the lock.
  • Rossmore
  • Warkworth Court – Male punches glass in communal door area of flats causing it to smash. – Male arrested. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – 3 males playing football outside ‘Little Sutton Library’ kick ball which hits and smashes window.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – 3 unknown youths on push bikes ridden past address and thrown brick causing front window to smash.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Oldfield Road – Unknown offender has entered the rear yard of flat complex and removed an insecure black mountain bike.
  • Cheshire Oaks – Unknown offender enters conference room, holding a workshop within the management suite and removes a Samsung Galaxy phone which had been left on charge. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Waverton Road – Vauxhall Astra has rear registration plate, displaying PF59 AOS taken.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Princes Road – Access gained into rear yard of property after offenders have smashed off locks.  Silver Kawasaki ZX 600 F3, P524 XUA taken. – Vehicle located abandoned near to address.
  • Rossmore
  • Church Street – Lexmoto Titan motorbike, MA17 BWU, parked on road taken by unknown offenders. -  Bike recovered from train station – Linked to below.
  • Joseph Groom Towers – Pioneer 125, DK15 HPP, parked in bike area of flats taken.  CCTV shows 3 male offenders pushing the bike away and attempting to start it. - Bike recovered. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Ness Road - White Ford Connect van, DA63 VCJ taken after keys obtained during a burglary.
  • Netherpool
  • Moorland Road – Black BMW 320, NH06 XWM taken after keys taken during a burglary. – Vehicle recovered on Oil Sites Road after 3 males seen running off.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Ewloe Court – Fiat 500 has both front and rear registration plates, displaying ML12 TMV taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • The Witterings – Ford Focus has registration plates, displaying DF16 BXM taken. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Kenilworth Court – Vauxhall Corsa, parked in residential parking area has bonnet jumped on and windscreen kicking causing glass to crack.  All 4 tyres have also been slashed with an unknown implement.
  • Whitby
  • Thamesdale – Citroen Picasso parked on residential driveway found to have 2 tyres deflated. (2nd time this has happened in 3 weeks) 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Cawood Close – Renault Captur, parked on residential driveway has offside wing mirror smashed off and rear window smashed by a concrete block which has been left on the parcel shelf.  Bonnet has also been stamped on causing denting.
Other incidents of note…
  • Nathans Store, The Arcade, Deansgate – At approx. 8.10pm on Friday 2nd March, male offender attacks father and son during an attempted robbery at Nathans store in Ellesmere Port causing them injuries. The father was released from hospital the following day. Male described as white, 5F6-5F10 wearing a dark jacket and light coloured bottoms.
