Alert message sent 01/03/2018 12:55:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

On the 27th of February there was an attempt theft of caravan in Ledsham.  Two unknown male offenders in daylight hours approached a caravan parked on a residential drive way in a Silver Range Rover on false plates.   The offenders used a Stihl Saw to saw off the tow hitch lock and wheel clamp and were disturbed whilst attempting to hitch the caravan to the vehicle.  The offenders then made their escape without the caravan.  Please be vigilant and report any suspicious vehicles to 101 or 999 in an emergency.
