Burglary
 
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Heathfield Road – 2 windows to rear of new build flats smashed to gain entry into 2 flats.  Flats are still under refurbishment so not sure if anything has been taken at this time. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Mellock Lane – Entry gained by insecure door.  All drawers in hall searched through.  Cash cards  and keys to a Grey Audi A4, X5 LKF taken, along with the vehicle which had been parked on the drive. – Vehicle located in Wallasey, Merseyside and 4 males arrested.
  • Netherpool
  • Hillside Drive – Temporarily unoccupied bungalow entered via rear kitchen window.  Untidy search made within and some personal items taken.
  • St. Pauls
  • Trumans Lane – Rear garden entered via insecure gate.  Metal spade, from garden used to force entry via rear kitchen door, smashing glass in the panel.  Untidy search of property.  Watch and keys to a black Audi S3, PK15 GXO taken, along with the vehicle.
  • Sutton
  • Broadland Road – 2 males disturbed by home owner trying to enter property through a front downstairs window.  Males made off when confronted.  Damage found to window and screwdriver hole in pvc. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • St. Pauls
  • Station Road – Chain and padlock securing gates to building merchants found cut off and on floor.  Not sure what has been taken at this time.
  • Chester Road – Entry gained into ‘Little Sutton Post Office’ during night time hours.  Quantity of cigarettes, alcohol, cash and stamps taken. – 2 arrested. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • School Lane – Padlock removed from garage door to gain entry.  Items taken from within but no further details at this time.
  • St. Pauls
  • Station Road – Unsuccessful attempt made to open door to garage.
Criminal Damage

Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Doune Court – Small hole made in window, possibly by a pellet or similar.
  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road – Outer pane of glass in window smashed by unknown means.
  • Worcester Walk – Glass in living room window smashed. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Hampton Crescent – Small hole found in glass of french doors.
  • St. Pauls
  • Mill Lane – Number of incidents of damage reported to both vehicles and property, possibly by same offenders. 1st – Front bedroom window of bungalow smashed by piece of concrete thrown from road. 2nd – Glass in porch door smashed by empty wine bottle thrown from road.
  • Sutton
  • Northern Rise – Outer pane of glass in window shatter by bottle thrown by unknown offender.
Theft

Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Marina Drive – Fluorescent green Carrera bike, secured to bike racks outside ‘Lloyds Bank’ taken along with locks having been removed by unknown means.
  • Whitby
  • Whitby Road – Whilst shopping in ‘Morrison’ handbag removed from trolley by unknown offender.  Contained purse, phone and cards. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Well Lane – Hanging baskets taken from outside residential property.
  • Netherpool
  • Rivacre Road – 5ft metal ostrich garden ornament removed by unknown offenders after it was cut off at the legs to remove.
Vehicle Crime

Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Mellock Lane – Grey Audi A4, X5 LKF taken, along with the vehicle taken after keys obtained during a burglary. – Vehicle located in Wallasey, Merseyside and 4 males arrested.
  • St. Pauls
  • Trumans Lane – Jewellery and watch taken along with a Black Audi S3, PK15 GXO which was parked on the driveway.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cromwell Road –Entry gained into secure compound by sawing through metal boundary grill.  Mini digger approached and 1.5 ton pecker attachment removed and taken.
  • Cheshire Oaks – Land Rover Discovery Estate, parked within car park has driver door lock cover taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Windermere Close – 2 separate incidents reported received.  1st - Nissan Juke, parked on residential driveway entered via drivers door and glove box searched with coins being removed from the centre consol. 2nd – VW Beetle and Vauxhall Astra, parked on residential driveway entered by unknown means and searched.  Nothing appears to have been taken.
  • Netherpool
  • Luton Road – Insecure Honda Civic entered and handbag and purse taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Whitby
  • Deeside – Fiat 500 and Peugeot 207, parked outside residential address at roadside have 2 tyres slashed on one vehicle and 1 on the other.
  • Chester Road – Vauxhall Corsa, whilst parked in car park of ‘Morrisons’ found to have damage caused by possibly being kicked. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Bendee Road – 2 incidents reported of vehicle damage.  1st - Honda Civic, parked on residential street walked over bonnet by unknown offender who has also smashed windscreen. 2nd – VW Golf has bonnet jumped on and windscreen smashed.
  • Neston
  • Drake Road – Vauxhall Corsa has front windscreen smashed by unknown means.
  • Bushell Road – Vauxhall Corsa, parked in residential street climbed over causing damage to the front windscreen.
  • Parkgate
  • Moorside Avenue – Vauxhall Astra, parked on driveway has both rear tyres stabbed in the tyre walls causing damage.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Berry Drive – Renault Clio, parked on residential driveway has rear window smashed by unknown means.
  • Netherpool
  • Naylor Crescent – Ford Fusion, parked in car park of care home has 2 spider web cracks found on windscreen which have been caused by unknown means.
  • Naylor Close – Children have thrown pot plants and garden ornaments at bonnet of Nissan Juke causing damage. – Named suspects.
  • St. Pauls
  • Glenwood Gardens – Vauxhall Combo has rear offside break light damaged by unknown means leaving light unit hanging from recess.  The side sliding door has also been scratched with an unknown implement.
  • Mill Lane – Number of incidents of damage reported to both vehicles and property, possibly by same offenders. 1st – Vauxhall Corsa, parked in turning circle at bottom of road has wing mirrors damaged. 2nd – Ford has windscreen smashed.
  • Gawsworth Road – Mercedes Sprinter has front windscreen smashed by unknown offenders – possibly linked to Mill Lane damage.
  • Delamere Drive – Ford Fiesta has wing mirror damaged.
  • Old Chester Road – Renault Clio, parked on car park area has both wing mirrors broken off and extensive damage caused to the bodywork by kicking. – Possibly linked to the Mill Lane damage.
  • Oliver Lane – BMW, parked in road has all windows smashed by unknown male using a baseball bat.  Damage has also been caused to the bodywork and lights.
  • Sutton
  • Cholmondeley Road – Fiat Punto, parked in residential road has front windscreen smashed by unknown offender.
  • Knowle Close - Renault damaged by bike which was thrown by male offender having been asked to leave address. – Named suspect.
  • Grange
  • Whitby Road – Mini One has 2 rear tyres slashed by unknown offender whilst parked in the small car park of the UCEA Academy.
  • Princes Road – Citroen Berlingo, parked on roadside has nearside passenger window smashed.
  • Sutton Way – Ford Focus has drivers side window smashed by unknown object whilst being driven along the road.
  • Overpool Road - Vauxhall Meriva, whilst travelling along road has front nearside window smashed by an unknown object thrown at the vehicle.
