2nd to 16th December 2017
  
Burglary
 
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Abbey Court – Entry gained via front door by unknown means.  Unsuccessful attempt made to remove TV from living room wall before offender/s leave property.
  • Shephard Close – Unsuccessful attempt made to force door to ground floor flat causing damage to the door. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Mellock Lane – Temporarily unoccupied property entered after ground floor kitchen window forced.  Tidy search made, taking nothing.  Unknown offender/s have left property via rear dining room window.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Leamington Road – Rear patio window smashed to allow entry into property. Keys to vehicle and a Grey BMW 435D, DG17 YPE taken. – Vehicle located in St. Davids Road, Eastham, Merseyside.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Green – Entry gained via insecure front door.  Keys to a BMW, LT56 OAL taken along with the vehicle. – Vehicle discovered burnt out in a nearby lay by.
  • St. Pauls
  • Hargrave Drive – Access gained to rear garden through a gap in the fence.  Unknown offender/s have then attempted to gain entry to property by smashing the glass in the rear door but are disturbed by resident.
  • Valley Drive – Entry gained into premises by smashing rear patio doors.  Keys to Grey Honda Civic GT R, RK66 XRC taken along with vehicle. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Entry gained into ‘Hooton Hotel’ by smashing a window above the conservatory.  Once inside offenders have proceeded to an upstairs office and caused damage to an office door to gain entry where the safe has then been removed.
  • Sutton
  • Sutton Way – Building site compound next to college entered. Entry forced into a container and tools, cookers and hobs taken from within. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • The Parade – Building site entered by separating boundary fencing.  Door on storage container forced open and quantity of tools, including drill, circular saw, chain saw, cement mixer and number of industrial radios taken from within.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Langley Court – Unoccupied property has damage caused to window by unknown means.
  • Oldfield Road – Rear garden gate damaged by unknown means.
  • Mornington Avenue – Unknown offender has cut through CCTV and BT internet cables on residential property.
  • Warwick Court – Outer pane of double glazed window smashed by group of youths who have thrown stones and potatoes.
  • Rossmore
  • Westminster Road - Brick thrown through living room window.
  • Lower Merseyton Road – After falling asleep in the bar area at ‘Holiday Inn’ male, having been woken by staff becomes aggressive and overturns a table breaking glasses. – Male arrested. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Netherpool
  • Rossmore Road West – Rear communal door has breeze block thrown at it causing damage in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry. – Named suspect.
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Patio heater kicked over at ‘Red Lion’ Public House breaking it. – Named suspect.
  • Parklands – Security light picked up and thrown at downstairs living room window causing outer pane to smash.  Front door also kicked causing damage by unknown male.
  • Grange
  • Sutton Way – Outer pane of first floor flat window smashed.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Marina Drive – Black Merida road bike, locked up in bike shed taken after being removed by unknown means.
  • Cheshire Oaks – Reports received from 2 separate aggrieved partied that whilst shopping on the retail park an unknown offender has removed purses from their bags.
  • Civic Way – Black and pink Carrera mountain bike taken from outside the library.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – 2 separate reports of bike theft over time period of this bulletin.  1st - Dark grey and red Carrera Vengeance, secured in bike racks at ‘Ellesmere Port Sports Village’ taken after lock removed by unknown means. 2nd – Bike (no further details) left secured in bike rack taken after lock cut off.
  • Stanney Lane – 2 separate reports of bike theft over time period of this bulletin.  1st - 2 unknown youths seen hanging around bike shed area at ‘David Lloyd’. Staff have checked area and found 2 locks cut by unknown means but no bikes taken at this time, possibly due to offenders having been disturbed. 2nd – Bike removed from bike rack by unknown males. (no further details).
  • Stanney Woods Avenue – Clothing parcel, accidentally left in ladies toilets found to have been taken by unknown female when checked on store cctv.
  • Rossmore
  • Maryville Close – Unknown offender climbs over small boundary wall into garden and removed Christmas lights led projector from garden having cut wires. 
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Dundee Court ­– Black Honda 125cc, DA14 YSW, parked on residential street taken by unknown means. – Bike located on Bunbury Green. – Named suspects.
  • Rhuddlan Court – SYM Jet motorcycle, PO11 OKT with ‘Deliveroo’ delivery box on back taken whilst on a delivery. – Located burnt out on Bunbury Green 3 days later.
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Leamington Road –Grey BMW 435D, DG17 YPE taken after keys obtained during a burglary. – Vehicle located in St. Davids Road, Eastham, Merseyside.

  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – Ford Fiesta, parked on car park of ‘Ellesmere Port Sports Village’ has body work trim removed. No further details. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Warwick Court – VW Passat has windscreen smashed.
  • Kenilworth Court – VW Jetta has brick thrown through rear window. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • Grenfell Park – BMW, parked at roadside scratched along passenger side with unknown implement.
Other incidents of note…
  • Overpool Road – Unknown male offender pull rider off Specialized Hard Rock Mountain bike, whilst it was being ridden along the pavement, makes threats with a knife before riding off on it. - Bike located, abandoned a short distance away.
