Burglary
 
Incidents reported relating to RESIDENTIAL property:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Rhuddlan Court – Unknown offender gains entry into communal area of flats by unknown means.  Damage is then caused to door of flat in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Male offender gains entry into property by smashed rear window and forcing the rear door.  Jewellery taken before offender is disturbed by residents and runs off. – Male arrested and charged.
  • Vernon Avenue – Outer pane of glass shattered in window.  No entry gained. 
Incidents reported relating to BUSINESS premises:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Mercer Walk – Unknown offender entered retail premises and accesses staff room where an IPhone 6 and cash are taken. 
Incidents reported relating to OUTBUILDINGS/GARDENS:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Arrow Court – Unknown offender has accessed secure bike shed for residents using a PIN code.  Once inside the lock has been snapped off a black and silver Specialized Rock Hopper Comp bike which has then been taken.
  • Whitby
  • Dale Gardens – Entry gained into garden by forcing rear gate. Secure door to outbuilding pulled open to gain access.  Offender/s have also ripped off the bottom wooden frame of a small downstairs toilet window. Cement mixer, 2 x Dewalt drills, Dewalt Impact Driver, Sound Link Mini Bluetooth speaker and black, red and white Specialized road bike taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Mellock Lane – Lock broken off garage door to gain entry.  5ft aluminium ladder taken.
  • Parkgate
  • Boundary Park - Unknown offenders have accessed building site by unbolting security fencing.  Access then gained into 4 steel shipping containers by breaking off locks.  Quantity of work equipment, including a cement mixer, Stihl saw, generator and whacker taken along with a number of items for the new builds, including shower units and kitchen equipment.
  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Calder Way – Entry gained into garage by unknown means and untidy search made within.  Nothing believed taken.
  • Mark Avenue – Detached garage has door forced to gain entry and mountain bike taken.
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cromwell Road – 2 bins in alleyway to rear of shops on Whitby Road set alight.
  • Langley Court – 2 separate incidents reported during the time frame for this bulletin.  1st - Front door to temporarily unoccupied property damaged by group of youths. 2nd – Youths, passing property on bikes have thrown unknown item/fired pellet gun at address causing damage to window.
  • Thornton Road – Wheelie bin set alight.
  • Grange Road – Merida mountain bike, secured in Asda bike shed has front wheel taken, rear wheel snapped off and seat damaged by unknown offender.
  • Rossmore
  • John Nicholas Crescent – Unknown object thrown at window in residential property causing the outer pane of glass to crack. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Mellock Lane – At some point during the weekend period an unknown vehicle has impacted into the garage wall and door leaving damage.
  • Sutton
  • Hope Farm Road – During the weekend a pellet gun or similar has been fired at a window at the ‘Hope Farm Medical Centre’ cracking the glass.
  • Grange
  • The Boulevard – 2 wheelie bins set alight.
Theft
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks – During the afternoon 2 males enter ‘Links of London’ and force the glass on a display cabinet before removing 4 bracelets. – Named suspect.
  • Wellington Road – Specialized hybrid bike, locked in bike shed to side of Aldi taken after chain removed by unknown means.
  • Arrow Court - Carrera mountain bike, left by the gates to the car park area for Stanwell House taken. – Named suspect.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – 2 incidents of theft of bikes reported from outside ‘David Lloyd Leisure’ during this week.  1st - Cboardman road bike, secured outside taken after the lock has been broken off. 2nd - Black and red Scott mountain bike taken from outside premises.
  • Stanney Lane – German Schnauzer puppy taken by unknown offender having escaped from rear garden.
  • Rossmore
  • Church Street – Unknown offender enters garden and large amount of timber removed and thrown onto bonfire on field opposite.
  • Grange
  • Rear garden entered via gate and insecure black GT mountain taken. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Neston
  • Chester Road – After the parade on Sunday an unknown male has entered the ‘Royal British Legion’ and removed the contents of a poppy collection box.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Village Square – Whilst working on residential property Stihl saw taken whilst user popped into property.
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – Entry gained into refreshments area of ‘Vauxhalls’ where 5 coffee machines are broken into.
  • Sutton
  • Bebington Road – Petrol strimmer, Flymo lawn mower, and garden fork/spade/trowel removed from garden.  Shower screen also in rear garden smashed against wall by offender.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt THEFT OF motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Rossmore
  • Stanley Road – Blue Yamaha YN 100 scooter, DG52 JHE taken from outside residential property. – Located in nearby bushes.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt THEFT FROM motor vehicles:

ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Coliseum Way – Seat Ibiza entered by unknown means and rucksack taken from within. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Parkgate
  • The Parade – 2 separate reports received of vehicles using public car park behind ‘The Boat House’ public house being broken into.  1st - VW Golf has rear windscreen smashed to gain access.  Laptop and purse taken. 2nd - Chevrolet Estate has rear window smashed to gain entry.  Not known if anything taken at this time.
  • Grange
  • Faraday Road – Ford Transit has both front and rear registration plates, showing NA03 EES taken. 
Incidents reported relating to DAMAGE TO motor vehicles:
 
ELLESMERE PORT EAST 
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Stirling Court – Vauxhall Corsa damaged laving marks on the bonnet and the nearside door mirror partially attached by wiring.
  • Dover Court – Peugeot 308, parked on roadside has oil based blue paint thrown over it.
  • Marina Drive – Toyota Aygo delivery vehicle for ‘Dominoes’  has wing mirrors kicked and bent by passing males
  • Whitby
  • Hilbre Drive – Vauxhall Corsa has tyres damaged. – 3 named suspects. 
ELLESMERE PORT WEST 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Well Lane – Vauxhall Agila found to have tyre slashed by Stanley blade, part of which was still embedded in tyre. – Similar incident reported in last bulletin having happened on the Rossmore area.
  • Rockfarm Drive – VW Polo, parked outside residential property has front and rear windscreens smashed, petrol poured over vehicle and a lit cigarette thrown in to ignite, causing minor damage to the interior.
  • Neston
  • Churchill Court – Toyota Yaris, parked on roadside has air let out of all 4 tyres, windscreen wipers snapped off and scratches made into the driver’s door with an unknown implement.
  • Jonson Road – Honda Jazz has car tyres slashed.
  • Parkgate
  • Grenfell Park – BMW X1 scratched along bodywork by unknown implement.
  • Netherpool
  • Overpool Road – Volvo double decker bus has windscreen smashed by a stone thrown by a group of youths.
  • Hillside Drive – Vauxhall Vectra, parked on roadside damaged by unknown means laving denting to vehicle bodywork.
  • St. Pauls
  • Clayhill Green – Over a 2 day period a Skoda Fabia, parked outside residential property has the bonnet scratched and the nearside wing mirror damaged.
  • Grange
  • Princes – Ford Galaxy has rear passenger window smashed by youth throwing stones. – Named offender.
  • Regent Street – Hyundai motor vehicle, being driven along road hit by firework causing denting.
 
Other incidents of note…
  • Arson – Luton Road – Firework put through letter box causing damage to door.
