Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary


  • Theft of tools from a van.
  • Front window of a property damaged.
  • Burglary – power tools and golf equipment stolen.
  • Damage to a van, named offender arrested and charged.
  • Damage to a vehicle, window was smashed overnight.
  • Burglary - cash stolen.
  • Theft of a battery from a truck.

Anti Social Behaviour

  • Dog running loose rear of Witton Albion, owner advised re keeping the dog under control
  • Report of group of youths on the playing fields being loud, youths present on police attending and advised.
  • Report of a dog escaping from a property, which attacked a cat, which was put on sleep as a result of the injuries sustained.


  • Enforcement carried out on Pickmere Lane and Church Street, 29 offences have been reported.
  • Community Speedwatch has been sent up for Pickmere Lane, and a number of sessions have taken place, resulting in 83 advisory letters being sent out.


  • No reports of parking issues within the village, however 3 tickets have been issued for unnecessary obstructions, 2 vehicles have been moved on request, and a number of parents spoken too, regarding parking on the yellow zig-zags outside the school.


The RTC in July which closed Pickmere Lane for a few hours, one person has been charged with driving without due care, possession of cannabis and driving whilst over the drug limit.
