Ellesmere Port & Neston News Bulletin
18th to 22nd September
 Incidents reported relating to residential property:
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Brooklea Meadows – Communal area to flats entered via an insecure door. Damage caused to front door handle and door frame of individual flat,  consistent with force being used to gain unsuccessful entry to a flat. 
Incidents reported relating to business premises:
  • St. Pauls
  • Station Road – Outer pane of glass in front door of ‘Planet Beauty’ smashed. Offender/s have then moved to the side of the property and smashed a window to gain entry.  Search conducted within and cash taken from the till.
  • Chester Road – Lower glass panel in front door of ‘Meanays Café’ smashed to gain entry.  Search made within. 8 packets of bacon removed from a fridge, leaving some on the counter top, taking the others along with a charity box. 
Criminal Damage
Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Sutton
  • Overpool Road – Male entered ‘BP Garage’ store and urinated over several shelves containing food. – Named suspect.
  • Hope Farm Road – Paint thrown onto car park area by group of youths.
Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Town Centre – Unknown offender has reached in open bag and removed black IPhone 6.
  • St. Johns House – Communal area of flats entered and parcel opened and small bottles of whiskey removed from within. 
  • St. Pauls
  • Wilmslow Drive – Entry gained into rear garden by unbolting side gate.  Insecure Scott Aspect mountain bike in orange taken.
Vehicle Crime
Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft OF motor vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Oldfield Road – Entry gained into rear yard via insecure gate.  Red scooter, BW04 XCT taken from within.
  • Princes Road – Insecure Blue VW Golf, Y309 BOJ, parked on car park by ‘Brandon Tool Hire’ taken. 
  • St. Pauls
  • Parklands – Secure Lexmoto Venom motorbike, SY65 XAN, parked in alleyway next to property taken after steering lock immobiliser and ignition barrel removed. – Bike recovered nearby.
Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft FROM motor vehicles:

  • Rossmore
  • Percival Road – Ford Focus, parked on residential road has taxi plate removed from the rear of the vehicle. 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Talbot Avenue – Volvo V60, parked on residential driveway entered by unknown means.  Guitar and mixing head unit taken.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Chester Road – Ford Focus, parked in front of commercial garage has both front and rear registration plates, displaying MT06 ZPU taken. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
  • St. Pauls
  • Princes Road – Ford Focus, parked at side of road having been towed has 2 passenger windows smashed by unknown offender/s.
  • Mill Lane, Vauxhall Vivaro has 2 rear windows smashed.
  • Sutton
  • Rostherne Avenue – Citroen C1, parked on car park of flats scratched along the rear offside panels and glass causing damage.
