Ellesmere Port & Neston News Bulletin
19th to 24th November 2016
 Incidents reported relating to business premises:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Park Road – Access gained to garden and insecure shed entered.  Nothing believed to have been taken.
  • Whitby
  • Dunkirk Lane – Entry gained into ‘The Groves Sports & Social Club’ by forcing the front door.  A number of gaming machines have been damaged to obtain the cash contents.  Entry also forced into storage area and numerous bottles of sprits have been taken.  There has also been a significant amount of damage caused within the building with televisions being ripped off the walls and light fittings ripped out from the ceiling. 
  • Netherpool
  • North Road – Number of vending machines at Vauxhalls Motors have been forced open and had the contents of the cash boxes removed. 
Incidents reported relating to outbuildings/garden:
  • Neston
  • Bushell Road – Shed entered by prising open door.  Brand new, still boxed green hedge trimmer taken from within.  Offender/s believed to have gained entry/left via rear garden wall onto footpath that leads to the Stanney Fields park causing damage to a trellis panel.
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Rhuddlan Court – Rock thrown at window causing outer pane of glass to shatter.
  • Langley Court – Group of youths throwing stones and eggs at different properties.  Damage has been caused to the windows at one of the addresses.
  • Rossmore
  • Broadbirches – Entry gained into communal area via an insecure front door.  Post boxes are then forced open with an unknown implement before various postal items are opened.  Nothing believed to have been taken. 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Church Lane – Plastic bottle thrown over fence landing on conservatory roof causing denting to the roof tiles.
  • Neston
  • Spenser Road – Window smashed with a brick.
  • Ladies Walk – Glass panel at front of ‘Aldi’ smashed.
  • Grange
  • Faraday Road – Garden ornaments smashed. – Named offenders.
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Snowden Road – Insecure Carrera mountain bike, left outside ‘Farm Foods’ taken.
  • Heathfield Road – Wooden garden furniture, which had been secured with padlocks taken from front garden.
 Vehicle Crime
 Incidents reported relating to theft/attempt theft of motor vehicles:

  • Netherpool
  • Rossmore Road West – Secure Ford Transit, MJ55 YEY, parked at roadside taken.

Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Road – Ford Transit, parked at roadside has the lock damaged to gain entry to the front of the vehicle.  Door release is then activated to open rear doors.  Quantity of tools taken from within.
  • Chester Road – Entry gained into Ford Transit, parked at ‘Thornton Hall’ by damaging the offside front door lock.  Rear of vehicle entered and a Trimble GPS kit in a solid yellow carry case and Tribrack taken from within.
  • Sutton
  • Overpool Road – Insecure Vauxhall Combo, parked on residential driveway has keys removed from the ignition. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • The Oval – Peugeot 106, parked on residential road has damage caused to the front offside wing and wing mirror. 
  • St. Pauls
  • Valley Drive – Audi A3 approached by 2 unknown males who have kicked wing mirrors, the nearside front headlight and the rear offside passenger door causing damage.
