Crime update for Disley

Dear Residents
 
Here are some crimes that have occurred over the last month in Disley and Newtown which we require some assistance with.
 
On the evening of Saturday 23rd July a Vehicle was damaged whilst parked on a residential drive on Bentside Road. The car had been scratched on both sides and the rear. If anyone has any information regarding this incident please ring 101 and quote reference no 0716222652  
 
On Sunday 7th August between the hours of 12.30hrs and 14.30hrs a car which was parked on St Marys road, Disley had its rear window smashed. If you have any information please quote CC16242771
 
On Monday 8th August a child was struck by a car on Buxton Old Road Disley. The child has multiple injuries and is still in hospital receiving treatment.  The investigation is still ongoing and we are appealing for any witnesses that haven’t already contacted us to get in touch quoting CC16240545
 
Dates for you diary
 
  • Saturday 13th August 10am-12noon. The police drop in surgery is being held at Disley community centre in Disley.
  • Saturday 13th August 1pm-2pm. The first “Community First Meetings” will be held at Disley community centre. These monthly meetings give you the opportunity to voice your opinions on the way Disley is policed. You will be able to speak to local officers and vote on what our policing priority should be for the month.
  • Saturday 20th August PCSO Simpson will be holding a crime prevention stall at the Disley Horticultural Show. You will also be able to sign up to Cheshire alerts and Cheshire Horsewatch at this event.
