Burgulary alert

Alert message sent 01/07/2016 14:31:00

Information sent on behalf of Cheshire Constabulary

There have been a number of burglaries within the Wilmslow area over the last couple of days.

York Crescent Wilmslow, whereby a downstairs window was forced open and a tidy search of the property was made, it is not known at this moment what has been taken.

Oakfield Road, Alderley Edge whereby offenders have gained entry via insecure front window and made an untidy search of the property and a number of items including accessing a safe and some items of jewellery have been taken.

Once again I remind you not to leave windows open whilst you are out of the property and do not advertise when you are planning on going on holiday.  An advertised empty house is an invitation for a burglary to occur.

Many thanks
