Ellesmere Port & Neston News Bulletin
18 to 25 June 2016
 Incidents reported relating to business premises:
  • Neston
  • Hinderton Road – Offender/s have gained entry to the Civic Hall by attacking the locks on 2 fire doors.  Nothing taken.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Hooton Green – Entry gained into Chimneys Public House by forcing first floor window.  Untidy search made.  Offender/s have made off after being disturbed by attending officers.
  • St. Pauls
  • Overpool Road – Rear kitchen window forced open and offender has made an unsuccessful attempt to reach in an unlock door with keys left in lock.
Criminal Damage 
 Incidents reported relating to criminal damage, with the exclusion of damage to vehicles:

  • Rossmore
  • Wilkinson Street – Brick thrown through bay window. 
  • St. Pauls
  • Chester Road – Extensive damage caused to greens at Ellesmere Port Golf Club due to bikes being ridden on them.
  • Grange
  • Overpool Road – Intoxicated males refused service at the Wheatsheaf Public House pushes over a glass cabinet causing pane of glass to smash.
 Incidents reported relating to theft, with the exclusion of shop lifting & vehicle theft:

  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Cheshire Oaks Outlet Village – Whilst using changing rooms at Calvin Klein IPhone 6S, left on seat taken by unknown offender.
  • Whitby
  • Stanney Lane – Entry gained into secured locker at David Lloyds and wallet taken from within. 
  • Netherpool
  • Childwall Road – Taxi driver having brought 2 females back Liverpool is refused payment – names suspect.
Vehicle Crime 
 Incidents reported relating to theft / attempt theft from motor vehicles:

  • Ledsham and Manor
  • Skipton Drive – Insecure Ford Vivaro entered.  Glove box searched and phone and fuel card taken.
  • Ellerton Avenue – Land Rover Range Rover, parked on residential driveway entered by unknown means.  Glovebox searched and sat. nav. Taken.
  • Phillips Lane – Vauxhall Zafira, parked on residential driveway entered by unknown means.  Search of glove box but nothing believed taken.
  • Gleneagles Road – Nissan Note, parked on residential driveway entered by unknown means and 2 hessian shopping bags removed from boot.
  • Willaston and Thornton
  • Chester Road – Secure Iveco Daily van, parked in car park of Burleyham Hotel has damage caused to the rear doors and side lights of attached trainer in an unsuccessful attempt to gain entry.
  • Netherpool
  • Seymour Drive – Insecure Mercedes entered and glovebox and centre console searched leaving items scattered within vehicle. Mackintosh laptop, Kamford sunglasses, Garmin sat. nav. And 2 IPods taken. 
Incidents reported relating to damage to motor vehicles:
  • Ellesmere Port Town
  • Warkworth Court – Ford Fiesta, parked on residential road has windows smashed with brick. 
  • Little Neston and Burton
  • Burton Road – Stones thrown from road bridge to Wirral Way (no further details) chipping the bonnet of passing VW Golf.
  • Neston
  • Tannery Lane – An unknown male has walked along street during the early hours of the morning damaging wing mirrors on 3 parked vehicles. A Citroen Xsara and Ford Focus have the near side mirrors kicked off and a Toyota Yaris has the near side mirror twisted off.
  • Netherpool
  • Rossmore Road West – Vauxhall Corsa has head light kicked causing it to smash.
Of note.... 
  •  Ford Transit, stolen in May recovered in North Yorkshire – Male arrested.
