The attached message contains a warning about a new type of scam which involves cold calling residents to offer them solar panels and then using the customers’ details to obtain finance (government grants), potentially fraudulently.
Many victims are vulnerable.
Please read the attached warning which contains more detail about the scam and pass on suitable warnings to friends, relatives and neighbours, especially those who are vulnerable, explaining that they should be very suspicious about any unsolicited approaches made offering government, grant funded, solar panels.
