Message from Handbridge Park Officer PCSO Fox

Below is a brief outline of the crimes that have happened around the Handbridge Park Ward between 31/01/16 and 06/02/16 which are of interest or have an effect on the local communities

1) Bradford Street, Handbridge – Theft of push bike – Occurred 03/02 10.00 – 03/02 12.45 – Insecure push bike taken from rear garden.

Residents around Handbridge Park have mentioned to me again this week about a group of males going door to door trying to sell household items. The males claim they are ex-offenders and have been sent by the Probation service. The Probation service would not send ex offenders door to door in this way and if you get people knocking on your door trying to sell items my advice would be to advice that the local Police have advised not to buy items in this way. Door to door sellers should have a pedlars licence issued by the Police. If you are concerned about people knocking on your door or receive abuse from any door to door sellers please call 101 and we will look to send a patrol out to speak with those involved.

Please contact us on e mail christopher.fox@cheshire.pnn.police.uk or 101 if you have any issues to report or want to provide any information on people committing criminal activities in your local area.

Chris Fox (Police Community Support Officer for Handbridge Park)
