11 October 2018

Advice on how to become more skilled in using the internet will be offered at a special series of events across the borough during Get Online Week, 15-19 October.

Councillor Brian Clarke, Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Infrastructure, said: “In the 21st Century, having the skills to carry out your private business or professional business online will make life run more smoothly.

“Our council buildings have the technology to allow residents to go online and carry out important tasks such as applying for Universal Credit or accessing Council services.

“People who don’t feel confident using the internet will really benefit from the events we are running during Get Online Week.”
